Week 3 · Day 20
Cap the last nap
Protect bedtime
Today's lesson
A long or late last nap pushes bedtime too late and reduces sleep pressure. Cap the last nap so it ends at least 3–4 hours before bedtime. For most babies, that means ending by 4–5 p.m.
Your action steps
- Set a latest end time for the last nap.
- Wake baby gently if the nap runs long.
- Move bedtime earlier if the last nap was short.
